Our families give us so many special memories: a smile or a laugh, a hug, or new skills and words! These beautiful moments are happening all the time and the aim of my family shoots is to capture as many as we can. This isn't a studio session - this is you and your loved ones going about your lives as you normally would plus me and my camera. I'll be ready to snap those fleeting seconds in the sort of glorious colour, depth and detail that is only possible with professional lenses.

There are no particular rules for my family photography - newborns, babies, toddlers, older kids, grandparents, parents, couples, cats, dogs and friends are all part of the clan. Whoever you want me to point my camera at, I will.

I’m Heather, a photographer and besotted mum based in Leeds, Yorkshire, where I live with my husband James, son Barney and highly strung cat, Stuart. As well as family photography I also do weddings and the ingredients are just the same: light, laughter & love. If you want some beautiful, natural, family photos then I would love to hear from you!
