This is a truly stunning and historic wedding venue! It's perfect for anyone that loves walking in this Yorkshire Valley or even for those who love the scenery and some tasty food! If you are looking for a lovely relaxed day, filled with romance and stunning scenery then you can't go wrong here! I love photographing and filming weddings here.

Barden Tower near Skipton in Yorkshire, dates back to the 15th century and has to be one of the most romantic and historic wedding venues in Yorkshire. It's surrounded by the jaw dropping Yorkshire countryside which is perfect for my epic and atmospheric scenic photographs.

I love the natural light in the main room that comes from the huge windows at the back of the building - it results in beautiful light filled shots and when you add in some amazing composition and just the right moment this is wedding photography at it's best!

The lovely warm, intimate and cozy surroundings including the log fire and candle light inside the venue work really well for my style of wedding photography and films and pairs really well with the stunning photographs and films we can shoot outside in the Wharfdale Valley.

There are many gorgeous hotels you can choose to start your wedding preparations at and one of my favourites is The Devonshire Arms Hotel and Spa which is located close by to The Priests House. The stylish and sumptuous decor coupled with the lovely natural light results in awe-inspiring wedding preparation photographs you'll want to look at for years to come!

Wedding ceremonies take place in the light filled Ceremony Room which is full of original period details including the huge and stunning windows.

When it's time to make your entrance, the Yorkshire countryside has some fantastic scenery to do it in style and the courtyard is a great place to get out our drone for some aerial shots!

A great point in the day to grab 10/15 minutes for (optional) group photos and or bridal and couple portraits is after the ceremony during the drinks reception. Some couples like to keep the photography 100% natural and some couples love a few minutes away on their own to create some beautiful and romantic photographs and also grab a few shots with family and friends. The day is yours to shape it as you would like. I also love a romantic sunset photograph and so these photos can also be taken just before sunset and if there is heavy cloud I have a magical bag of tricks that will create some breath taking effects which is what happened here when it rained most of the day! Whatever the weather throws at us we will make the best of it if you are happy to embrace the elements! Equally if you'd prefer not to risk the rain there are many opportunities inside to create some very special wedding photographs and films.
